Second Partners
This is the reproduced info on the new partners, how they will work OOC-wise, and more, from a brand new mod account that we will be switching to full-time.
Titamon had the original partners and damaged their digicores. Its what he does. Sakuyamon found them and brought them too you. They are still currently recovering and will finish in the next couple of days.
Now then, what are the partners you had since the start? Its a bit complicated. They are your partners just not the ones you were intended to have. In fact they were formed via the broken and damaged reminds of the Original's digicores. Combined with how the SCOPE Virus operates and the digivices interfering, this created your current partners. They have no memories of this, as it was wiped from them, and Titamon sent them and the digivices to you all.
They are a part of the Original ones, but since they grew in a different environment and had there cores altered they became different Digimon. Since you guys have been using the digivices to evolve and be around them, they have locked onto them and are unable to be used on Original partners. You can still try to force a digivolution on them.
Forcing a digivolution on your orginal partners right now will fail and cause your digivice to start cracking. Forcing it to hard, long, and to many times will destroy the digivice, thusly making you unable to digivolve the even the SCOPE Partners. Come December there will be a way to evolve the original Digimon.
From this point on, any non-canon Digimon character that apps in will have their original partners when they appear, unless they are a returning character and returning with the Digimon they came in with. Then it's their SCOPE Digimon. But unlike the previous ones they can digivolve their original partners as their digivices are locked on them. A month after acceptance the new non-canon character will be able to apply for their SCOPE partners, if they so wish too. You are free to stay with only one partner if you want.
As it stands we will be offering a way for those in the groups before the December app cycle, to return to having one partner permanently. The SCOPE and Original partner will Jogress (we are using this term because while DNA Evolution and Jogress are the same thing, this more akin to what Ryo did to Monodramon and Milleniummon) into a single Digimon. You will be able to pick which one of the two you keep and what happens their personality and etc. This will also reset their digivolution lines. We will get more into later in December when this will go in effect.
Also, while its a complete change of topic, we are taking Miracles off the table as receivable crests. As it stands right now, its nigh impossible to give out based on in-game events. Whether this means we will find a new way of cresting for that crest or doing something else with it remains to be seen, but we will keep you posted once we have an answer.
