Head Mod Resignation.
It's with a heavy heart that I'm writing this. I want it clear first of all that this was already under heavy consideration before rpanon and wankgate once again started prying into my personal life. (Or rather, one person on rpanon and wankgate, I assume.) This has been something we've been discussing for the past few weeks, and I'm sorry if because of it the game has suffered. None of us wanted to make decisions lightly or rashly.
The stress of real life and my own acknowledgement that I'm not cut out for the job of head mod has lead me to decide that I am stepping down from the position. I'll remain playing Minervamon, though no other NPCs in the foreseeable future. I'll update lists, but no more app work, cresting, decisions, etc. as I honestly was never prepared for this position and was hastily thrust into it. I've tried my best to make this game its best, but new blood is needed to do so, and if I can't give this place 100%, I shouldn't remain in this place of power. I need to start focusing on my mental health again, as it's suffered since I stepped up to be a head mod, and you need to have a mod who can focus on the game more.
As for the game itself, I'm not leaving altogether. Though I've got some deciding to do, I will be keeping Cam and Hollyleaf at least. Juri and Sophia I'm up in the air on, thus my hiatus will help with my debate over what to do with them.
I suppose I should make a statement on the fact that someone's been posting my picture and information around. Frankly I'm just confused over it all and I ask whoever it is, just stop. You aren't helping yourself at all, and, if this was to get me to step down, I am. I think everyone will be much happier with someone else as one of those who calls the shots.
Those remaining will do a wonderful job. They've already done so much and I have faith in them to keep this game running as they look for replacements. Discussions that've been going on will continue, of course, just be patient in this time of transition. Later today, there will be a mod application post put up, for all sorts of mods -- including the head position. Please don't ask questions about it here, though! From this point on, besides updating lists and one NPC, I'm just a regular player.
