Hey, everyone, end of the month and we're trying our hand at a timely monthly wrap-up.

Event + Mission Wrap Up
This has been an event-lite month, focusing mostly on character interaction with the Adventure Time, Film Noir, and Memory Leaks events. However, recently NPCs have been popping up more, and we have had several plot-important missions that are still on-going. Though all but one have reached their number cap, if you'd like to follow along, the missions are located here. Next Month and Miscellaneous
We have two events this month, which you will learn about as we get closer to them. On Thursday or Friday, we will put up initial information for the Blackout event. Keep in mind, this will be a plot-related event. Additionally, NPC posts to transition into the event continue through the week.

Missions will go up later today, and like the last set, they will be plot-oriented. Keep watch for them! There will only be three this time, with the same cap as the last group (4). Jobs will also go up later today but be interrupted due to the blackout.

Cresting - As always, once it reaches three months since your acceptance, you can apply for cresting. A lot of new people can get crests this month, so don't forget to apply! You can also always nominate others to give your input on what a character should receive.

Character Tagging - We're again reminding everyone to please add your character tag whenever you tag-in a post. The mods have been adding them when they are absent, and it can get a little overwhelming when we have to keep checking posts from days ago. As this is in the application intro, you're expected to tag your own character, and we would appreciate it if you do, as it helps us with cresting and you with keeping track of your AC. Additionally, we will be adding a symbol to the start of tags for dropped characters, the ∅. We will take care of that, so you don't need to worry, but what this means for you is you don't need to scroll through dropped characters when you add tags, as it will push them all to the bottom! Hopefully this will help keep the tagging system organized.

Applications open on August 3rd, and reserves are currently open.

Everyone on my plurk no doubt knows this, but I'm going to call hiatus for a little while. Since it's been out, FFXIV's been consuming every waking moment I have (designated for happymetime or boringadulttime, it is indiscriminate) and I really can't balance much anymore until AT LEAST the main scenario's done. Like I said on plurk, the game's storyline's gripped me harder than I thought it ever would have, and things are getting pretty difficult with the game suddenly ramping up in difficulty.

This affects the Warrior of Light (shinebrighter) and Joshua (whitefeather). For continuity's sake, after the memory leak event the Warrior of Light is a little weirded out at the apparent fact he's not human and has taken Coronamon with to do a little self discovery. He'll be okay though.

Joshua is being a jerkass his usual self and has ditched Renamon again, and will be out and about looking for any indication of what happened to form the digital world originally.

I'm going to finish all of the tags I owe, but I'll be starting no new threads until this is done. Provisionally, I'll be gone for about a week. I'll update if this is going to take longer. Wish me luck!
