Terminal Tokyo Part One: Eleventh Hour
Hey gang! At this moment we are essentially at the end of Part 1 of the game's story. So we're going to talk about the end of it a bit and the game changes that will happen in Part 2 of the game.
At this point we have revealed two out of six major players for Part Two. Sakuyamon and Titamon. We are going to introduce (or at least mention) the rest of them by New Years day. So let's talk about those two events that are coming up.
CHRISTMAS DAY EVENT
The log for the Christmas day event will be put up around the 22nd/23rd. But in game, at 11:59P on the 24th everyone in Terminal Tokyo will suddenly fall asleep, when they awake in the morning they will find themselves cozily tucked into their beds and the non-canon digimon humans will find their digivices are gone. But with a note instructing them to come to Venusmon will be there, in Santa garb, with a new type digivice for them. The D-Streams.
Who is Venusmon and why has she only just appeared? Well that's simple, Venusmon and her unnamed partner are on the side of the Chosen Children as a whole, no matter what. Part of it is because they feel that the Chosen were brought to the Digital World under false and forced pretenses. They will be there to help the Chosen more often now, as they were busy helping construct the D-streams as they think Titamon had tampered with if not outright created them to try and control the new Chosen.
NEW YEARS EVENT
On News Years Eve/Day we will essentially be the curtain falling on this part of the game. Due to the actions of Chika, Alex, Ed, Neku, and Sora, Jupitermon has decided to come cast judgement on them and anything or anyone that gets in his way will be dealt with (not lethally but still dealt with quickly.) Astute observers will notice he has a digiegg on him. Luck is on your side, sorta, as Minervamon appears to try and stop him, and while she will tell you guys to escape the city, she's not going to make a lot of an effort to protect you, besides intercepting Jupitermon. These are the last two major players for Part Two of the game.
Given the nature of the Olympus XII the city will normally be in shambles from this fight...but instead an outside force or maybe something within the city itself will force it to disappear and the chosen that wish to stay together will temporarily move to HospiTown on the V-Tamer's Folder Continent.
FACTIONS
All this is to introduce the main concept of Part Two; Factions. You guys will have a choice come February/March. What side do you join. Sakuyamon's, Titamons, Minervamons, or Jupitermon's. Or you can take the fifth option make your own groups. There will be some restrictions on who can join what, but the main two, at this point, are on Jupitermon's.
1) At this point Chika, Ed, Neku, Sora, and Alex (should Hino reapp in), will be barred from his faction...at least for now.
2) No overtly evil characters will be allowed in his faction. This is mostly beacuse of his personality of judging good and evil, and thus he will try and smite them. However if the character in question hide this part of their nature to them they would be allowed in.
In contrast there is Titamon, who anyone can join at anytime, even if you betray him a thousand times.
As a third thing regarding the factions, we will be allowing people to be affiliated with one faction but pretending to be working for another. Essentially you can play the spy game, as long as you don't get caught. Seriously don't get caught by Jupitermon or Minervamon. It won't be pretty.
Coming in March and April, we will have the first faction mission, and it can potentially involve everyone, no matter what side you stand on or if you have started your own group. More on that later but what we will tell you is that it will involve the Chosen infiltrating the Royal Base. If it gets destroyed or not will be up to the group. Missions are much different than the events we have had so far, as the ending and what happens within will solely be decided the players and what they do to the NPC's presented. There will be more traditional events still but the Missions are the more plot important stuff to the game at large. Not all Missions will be available to all factions. The first one will be because it's the first one, and part of its purpose is to get everyone in each other's faces.
Those that choose to go on their own, either by differing chosen groups or being lone wolf's need not worry. We will have ways for you to join the missions, whether if it's to help out a side or because your characters will have their own goals.
Depending on what factions succeed, will determine the length of Part 2.

Well, hopefully sometime later today or tomorrow there will be a big digivice post up, basically describing what each can do, and an added function for some of them (basically to even a few things out, having all the Frontier Children to be preform Fusion Spirit evolution). But what we will tell you right now, is that the D-Streams will allow you to digivolve both partners, find your second, OR Jogress them together. The D-Streams will help you guys save some items once the city disappears.

OLYMPUS XII
The Olympus XII, a group of twelve extremely powerful Mega God-man Digimon type digimon. They are equal in power to Plutomon and the Royal Knights, and function as another set of guardians for the Digital World, though they are more neutral by nature. Problem is they are currently split into two factions.
Jupitermon's faction: Jupitermon, Ceresmon, Neptunemon, Apollomon, Bacchusmon, and Merukimon. They are more of a Lawful type factions, and are more straight-up powerhouses and while they have more members then the other faction, they have found themselves to be more equal in strength to the other Olympus XII faction.
Minervamon faction: Minervamon/Mervamon, Dianamon, Marsmon and Vulcanusmon. They are more of a Neutral type of a faction and rely more on trickery to compensate for their lack of members, making a combination of Marsmon and Vulcanusmon a force to be reckoned with.
Venusmon herself is the odd one out, as she has sided with neither of the two. Instead, due to what she can do, she has fully sided herself with the Chosen as a whole, realizing that they may be drawn and split because of this conflict. Currently she is utilizing her good reputation and nature to call in favors to help the children out, though this has mean she had and has to be a non-entity to them for a while. The three most useful favors she has gotten out were the creation of the D-streams for the new Chosen (utilizing her ability to see the truth, as they are a different group of Chosen Children, and thus need something to suit their needs). Another was contracting a partner in helping protect them, who currently is a non-entity by choice, and help with the construction of the D-Streams. As the D-Streams are done, they will appear when the Chosen need help. The third notable thing she has done was send one of her servants to Terminal Tokyo, Lilamon, to provide things that Chosen would need. Like a change of clothes.
OOCly there is a missing Olympus XII (most likely Junomon) and we hope for it to be revealed soon. They will be put on Minervamon's side. Should both a Junomon and Vestamon appear, Junomon would be on Minervamon's side and we will figure out what to do with Vestamon, should we want to include her. ICly they will be mentioned as missing.

The Emergence of V-Tamer's Folder Continent into Adventure's Digital World has essentially became a herald for a disturbing realization. That all the other Digital Worlds are starting to merge into one. We aren't going to put a hard limit on what has exactly has appeared, but we do ask you that you ask us, if you wish put something in the game. Mainly because there is a hard limit to the amount from each that has appeared.
What gets added will effect the length of Part Two, as it will effect and essentially create missions and events.

ooc plotting: Millenniummon's Castle
Rin's had her eyes on it for a while now, but every time people are distracted it's with something dangerous so she feels she has to help out. I'm hoping to take advantage of all this IC action (which seems pretty laid back right now) in order to have her take over the castle.
Of course, she might not be the only one thinking of doing the same. So I'd like to plot with anyone else who was interested and those who might actually want to help her. She'd be willing to share her ideas (as what she wants to use it for), but Rin's also likely made a few enemies within the Chosen herself. So yes, I'd just like to push ahead with this in the upcoming weeks and wanted to see who all wanted to plot with it.
