Hey all! My name's Jess (but considering we have more then one Jess feel free to call me Jessi or Raspberry or Bob or whatever man) and I'm bringing in Neku Sakuraba from the World Ends with You.

For those that don't know his canon he's a cranky ex-misanthrope (he's getting better) who is kinda a failure at this whole 'being social' and ' not being a royal dick canoe' thing but he's learning! He's from right at the end of Week 3 so he's kinda dead still (maybe) so this whole being able to be seen by people is nice. His partner is a female-esq. Terriermon who evolves into BlackGatomon, something those familiar with the canon might find amusing.

I haven't played him seriously since 2009 so please forgive me if I'm a little slow getting back into his voice, but I'm excited to play with you all! raspberrydrink is my plurk, but be warned I chatter on it about everything including threads and irl stuff, so if you don't like a lot of plurks I'm not the best person to follow.

It's okay, he's mostly over the dick canoeing. And his brand of dickery was more being rood and an asshole and less anything particularly illegal (well that one murder attempt aside it was complicated)

I got so hyped the TWEWY came out... I never played it in the end... but I always do get excited to play with characters from it! It looked like such an interesting world!

Ha, well Neku will probably be rather rude to Tim right
off considering he's running around in a cape- probably thinking he's one of those obsessed otaku that cosplay 24/7. TBH early game Neku is less Dick and Tim and more Jason minus the death and crazy. Okay maybe not minus the death, it's complicated. He's better now though I swear!

And you should look it up! There's an iOS version now pretty cheap if you have a phone that can handle it, and while you'd have to be lucky to find it used in a gameshop it's not too expensive or hard to find online. It's very stylish and the music alone is worth it. Enough so that they remixed a lot of it for the characters' cameo in the new Kingdom Hearts game.

I always looked at it because I thought the art was very pretty and really unique to the whole video game scene back then, although I'm admittedly (obviously) not a gamer myself. But one of these days, yes, I think I very well will end up buying twewy because I'm still so damn curious about it!

One thing about the game though is that the combat system take sa LOT of getting used to and can scare people off really fast. but if you hold out and practice with it it's a very emotional game with really loveable characters. As scenes like this

Haha yeah, Neku is a pretty calm roommate himself, so the odds are until they get a third roommate the digimon are apt to cause most of the trouble.
