SEPTEMBER EVENT INFORMATION
A little later than what we had expected, but we have the information you seek in regards to the September events! Aren't you all excited?!?!!? We sure are!
BLACK OUT:
As everyone has been anxiously awaiting and plotting for the Black Out event, we the mods have been cackling evilly where you all can't hear...see...whatever. For one, this is not your run of the mill black out. It's not just the lights that are going out. Everyone is thrust into darkness; not even the sun is shining. What's brought this on, you ask? Well, do WE have an answer for you!
Everyone's favorite NPC villain is back, and she's here to cause alot little bit of trouble for the Chosen of the city! Sunday she will be making a speech to all of the people before shutting off all the lights. NOTE: The only lights that you will have available to you are the lights from your D-Terminal screens, and if your Digimon can produce light, it will only light up about a 5-foot radius around it. Nothing else will work since this is not a regular darkness.
Lotusmon is not here to just cause a black out. No. You don't get off so easy. On top of the black out, you will be faced with another Dark Field...in the city. Our neighborhood friendly mindless Digimon (ranging from Rookie to Ultimate) will be attacking the city in the darkness as well. Just like you, they are running around blind and may even end up fighting each other (they're sort of dumb like that). PLEASE KEEP IN MIND that we as mods MAY be able to NPC a few of the fights, but overall, it will be up to you to control which Digimon you are fighting (if you choose to fight, that is). You may request an NPC HERE. If you do not put in the request here, we WILL NOT NPC for you. We are only human, after all, and cannot run everything all at once.
The fighting itself will take place inthefolder. There will be a main post, and everyone will just tag in there. This way, we're not flooding the comm and people can mingle and all that fun stuff!
Oh, but it gets better! WE ARE OPENING UP FIVE, count them FIVE, DARK DIGIVOLUTIONS! Within the comments section will be a place to apply with your Dark Digivolution. Everything will be randomized in regards to who will get the positions, assuming we have more than five apply. We'll be rolling for them on Friday at noon CST, so you have until 11:30 AM CST to apply.
AS FOR THE TIMING OF THIS EVENT it will not officially start until Lotusmon makes her appearance! So please refrain from posting about the actual black out until that post is made.

CRAZY WEATHER WE'RE HAVING!:
For this event, the weather is just...going to be absolutely nuts. Instead of the Goldilocks weather (not too hot, not too cold, it's juuuuuuuust right!), things have glitched and giving extreme changes in the worst way. Here is your seven day forecast:
Sunday: (September 22) Sandstorm! There's no telling where that sand is coming from, but GOOD LORD THAT'S A LOT OF SAND!
Monday: (September 23)Just like a Heatwave! Burning in my heart. Boy, is it hot out here, or is it just me?!
Tuesday: (September 24) Blizzard! SNOW ANGELS ALL AROUND...if you don't get buried first...
Wednesday: (September 25) Monsoon! Hope you can swim, guys!
Thursday: (September 26) IT'S RAINING CATS AND DOGS...wait...are those Gatomon and Doggymon dolls?!
Friday: (September 27) Foggy! No, really, you can't see more than a couple feet in front of your face. CAREFUL OF THAT LEDGE!
Saturday: (September 28) Tornado! YOU REALLY AREN'T IN KANSAS ANYMORE!

REASON: I already talked this over a bit with Ash, but basically Neku is in a very off state of mind already due to his memory leak, questioning his ability to be friends with anyone. Add in that the digimon that 'killed' Terriermon is causing the event and he's a ball of fear and anger right now.

REASON: Harley does not respect not does she consider Bokomon as anything more then a henchmen. And she really really wants to see him evolve and cause some chaos and destruction. He is scared and unwilling to fight, so she keeps pushing and trying harder and harder going so far as to lash out at him herself and force them both into danger till it happens fueled by Harley's mania and loneliness. It's been weeks and weeks and she's starting to miss her home and friends. Being so needy Harley's natural response is to pour herself into physical activity and being "Harley Quinn" when he ruins it for her by not wanting to play she'll tantrum.

REASON: Fluttershy has been really upset since Twilight and Rarity were sent home from the city. Losing them was hard on her, especially since she had been lost and never got to see Twilight before she left. Even since she'd been brought into the city, she's had major doubts about what she can do to help save it, but the brief moment of Twilight and Rarity being around helped boost her confidence. When they left, she fell back into doubt, even more so as she's completely convinced she can't do anything without them, further solidified in her mind when she had broken her wing. That, coupled with the memory leak of her acting so terribly to her friends, has put her in a such a low state that she's up to now been having trouble getting out of, even with the help of other friends.

REASON: Things had been going so well for Hiccup and Fearless for a while: until they got lost for a week, that is. Ever since Hiccup has been functioning on basically only one leg, having to work double shifts just to get enough money to fund repairs for it. It's left him exhausted, irritable, and on edge. Not to mention the fact that Fearless has his own entire other inner turmoil going on. For a long time he'd been nursing a puppy love sort of crush on Marley, only to have it stomped out upon learning that Donnie and Marley had confessed feelings for one another and were in a relationship. After this Fearless wouldn't even talk to anyone, much less Hiccup. Before this event takes place Fearless, Donnie's partner Kamemon, and Marley's partner Hawkmon will have gotten into an all out brawl started by Fearless himself, who will most likely get beaten pretty soundly in the process.
At that point not only is HE going to be ready to snap, but so is Hiccup since this will be the second time Fearless has completely humiliated him and made a scene about something he'd dismissed as stupid in the first place. Neither one of them are going to be in a good place when things finally come to a head. (NOTE: By then Hiccup will probably have his leg fixed.)

REASON: While they don't hate each other, Donnie and Kamemon have problems getting along such as Kamemon annoying Donnie when he's busy or Kamemon not understanding Donnie's technobabble. Donnie also has both a girlfriend and his younger brother has recently appeared, which makes Kamemon feel overshadowed and like Donnie doesn't care about him, especially since the genius has yet to name him. There is also a Log going on between Fearless and Kamemon and it is going to end with a stressed Donnie yelling at him and it will hurt Kamemon's feelings. With the stress, low opinion of his own usefulness, and worsening emotional state, Kamemon is about ready to snap. Donnie is also upset due to the whole situation with Fearless and Kamemon no longer listening to him after the Log and during the upcoming Dark Field mission.

REASON: So okay, let's be real here. There's a dark zone, Ed's going to wind up in it at some point for some reason. It's like a natural law at this point, and it's a wonder that he didn't jump into the one at the data gathering mission.
Anyways, he'll need a way out. CLEARLY when lacking the coordination to set up a multiple-crest-rainbow bridge the next best solution is to run yourself ragged, beat the crap out of yourself and then trigger your own dark digivolution so that a Kimeramon can bust out of the dark field and go on a rampage, right?
...Right?
